Q: I wanted to try these sneakers but dont live near a reebok store. Does anyone know who carries them? I really dont want to purchase online because I want to try them on first. Thanks for the help

Shape-Ups (Sketchers) and/or Easy Tone (Reebok) sneakers?

Q: Does anyone have them and to they really make a difference?
I walk about 45-60 minutes a day with my dog so I was wondering if I could get more of a workout with either the Shape-Ups (Sketchers) and Easy Tone (Reebok) sneakers.

The Reebok campaign’s theme is “The sport of fitness has arrived,” and to help sell that idea the Reebok campaign features the CrossFit strength and conditioning program. The Reebok campaign, the broader of the two, is a worldwide campaign for the Reebok brand as well as for individual products, with an estimated budget of more than $50 million. Capitalizing on that audience, two footwear titans, Reebok and Nike, are introducing sneaker campaigns. The Nike campaign is for a new Kobe Bryant shoe, the Nike Kobe VII System Supreme. “Our proposition to the world is that fitness itself can be thought about as any other sport, said Matt O’Toole, chief marketing officer at Reebok International in Canton, Mass. “Reebok got its start through its fitness initiatives in the ’80s,” he said, and now “wants to put itself at the center of getting people moving. Nike’s will begin on Saturday, and Reebok’s will begin on Sunday.

Beauty Board: Wellness Wednesday: Reebok Easy Tone Sneakers

Reebok recently created a new sneaker, Reebok RunTone Action, which is adapted for running, toning, and working out. However, the Reebok Easy Tone sneaker caught my attention a while back. I asked around and learned Easy Tone sneakers were ideal for walking, not running or fitness classes. I've never been a huge fan of Reebok shoes for working out. Anything that can assist my workout by toning my butt and legs without increasing reps or miles, is worth researching. While fashion is my first love, on weekdays you'll find me moonlighting as a Human Resource professional. The things I love most in life are the 3 f’s: family, friends, and fashion. So I dismissed them as a viable workout shoe.
