Q: Has anyone had any experience with New Balance brand TRAIL running shoes? Preferably the men's style but any replies are appreciated.

How does New Balance's numbering system work? Are all 700s, for example, a specific type of running shoe?

Q: I know New Balance has a different number for each model and that they produce shoes of all shapes and sizes. I was wondering whether 700s are meant for one thing and 300s were meant for another, etc. Or maybe the numbering system is just random? Can

A: They inititally just pick a number and the next shoe in that series or it's replacement has a higher number.
