A: Well given that he is married with two kids at highschool then I seriously doubt he is gay (and so what if is was anyway - doesn't change the fact that he is an excellent writer and reviewer).

I've always loved Cappadocia in central Turkey , so I took a majestic hot-air balloon ride over the fairy-chimney formations of that exotic landscape. Last summer I learned that -- even if I wasn't blessed with wings -- I've got an abundance of hot air, and you can fly quite well with little more than that. Over the years, I've tried windsurfing at Spain 's Costa del Sol, mountain biking in Switzerland 's Berner Oberland , surfing in Munich 's English Garden , glacier-walking in Norway , and hut-hopping in the Italian Dolomites.

For example in the Germany chapter there is no mention of Munich, for Belgium no Brussels or Antwerp, for Switzerland no Zurich or Geneva, and on and on. In fact only 22 cities/locales in all of Europe are mentioned. Definitely start with this book when planning your vacation, as it answers a lot of your most basic questions and gives a great overview of Europe to help you start with a rough itinerary. Just like all the reviews on his previous year’s copies, this version is a great resource for planning a European trip. The only thing (which has been mentioned in another view I read) which I would love is if Munich was also included in the book. The other cities we had planned to visit were all featured in the book (London, Paris, Bacharach, Rottenberg, and Vienna). This book only mentions 10 of them. I haven’t read any of the previous versions, so I can’t say what has changed this year. Of those mentioned many popular and interesting cities are omitted. We will continue to dream and plan for our future trip, when health and weather permit (currently deferred by the Icelandic volcano)....
